JNVST 2022 Class 6th admission Know how to apply
Step 1 : To fill the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Online Form, first of all, the candidate should visit the official website of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya cbseitms.nic.in.
Step 2 : Now here on the home page click on the option of Click Here to Class Six Registration at the bottom of the candidate corner.
Step 3 : Now here the page of online application for admission in class 6 2022-23 will open.
Step 4 : Here the candidate will first download a certificate by clicking here to download.
Step 5 : Now the candidate can fill this certificate and take a photo of it or scan it.
Step 6 : In the next step you have to come back to the application form page to fill the application form.
Step 7 : Now here the application form is given below on your screen, fill all the information asked in this application form carefully.
Step 8 : After filling all the information asked in the application form, submit the form.
Step 9: After submitting the application form, your registration will be completed and you will be given a registration number as well as an option to download the registration form from where you can download the registration form.
ADMISSION.PROCEDURE .Admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is made on the basis of a Selection Test, designed and conducted by the CBSE. The test is called the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST).
It is of non-verbal nature, class-neutral and designed so as to ensure that talented children from rural areas are able to compete without facing any disadvantage. Special care is taken to ensure that children from far flung areas get admission forms free of cost, without any difficulty. Sufficient publicity is done through Doordarshan, All India Radio, local newspapers, pamphlets, Vidyalaya websites and through visits of Principals and teachers of Navodaya Vidyalayas to the local schools of the district
ELIGIBILITY CONNDITION AND COMPOSITION OF THE TEST FOR CLASS 6th 9th and 11th
FIRST OF ALL WE KNOW THE ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS OF CLASS 6th
CLAAS 6th ELIGIBILITY CONDITION FOR ALL CANDIDATES
1. Only candidates from the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been opened are eligible to apply for admission. However, in the district where the JNV is opened and is bifurcated at a later date, the old boundaries of the district are considered for the purpose of eligibility for admission in the JNVs. This applies to cases where new Vidyalaya has not yet been started in the newly bifurcated district .
2.Candidates appearing for the selection test must be studying in Class-V for the entire academic session in a Government/Government-Aided, other recognized school or ‘B’ Certificate Competency Course of National Institute of Open Schooling, in the same district where he/she seeks admission.
3.A school will be deemed to have been recognized if it is declared so by the Government or by any other agency authorized on behalf of the Government. Schools, where students have obtained ‘B’ certificate under National Institute of Open Schooling should have accreditation of NIOS.
4.A candidate must successfully complete Class-V. Actual admission in Class-VI will be subject to these conditions.
5.A candidate seeking admission must be within the age group of 9 to 13 years. This is applicable to candidates of all categories, including those who belong to SCHEDULED CAST (SC) AND SCHEDULED TRIBE (ST)
6. A candidate claiming admission from rural quota must have studied and passed Classes- III, IV and V from a Govt./Govt. Aided/ recognised school spending one full academic session each year in a school located in a rural area.
7. A candidate who has studied in a school located in an urban area even for a single day of a session in any of the Classes-III, IV or V, will be considered as an Urban area candidate. Urban areas are those, which are so notified in the 2011 Census or through a subsequent Government Notification. All other areas will be considered as rural.
8. A candidate who has not been promoted and admitted to Class-V before 30th September, is not eligible to apply.
9. No candidate is eligible to appear in the JNV Selection Test for a second time, under any circumstances.
Reservation for Rural, SC/ST, Girls & Disabled Children
1. At least 75% of the seats in a district are filled by candidates selected from rural areas and remaining seats are filled from urban areas of the district.
