Admission Enrolment Policy
Admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is made on the basis of a Selection Test, designed and conducted by the CBSE. The test is called the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST). It is of non-verbal nature, class-neutral and designed so as to ensure that talented children from rural areas are able to compete without facing any disadvantage. Special care is taken to ensure that children from far flung areas get admission forms free of cost, without any difficulty. Sufficient publicity is done through Doordarshan, All India Radio, local newspapers, pamphlets, Vidyalaya websites and through visits of Principals and teachers of Navodaya Vidyalayas to the local schools of the district.
Class XI Notification for Admission
The vacant seats available in each JNV is notified every year in the local newspapers by the JNV concerned of that district. The admission in Class–XI is completed by 15th July every year.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission Class 11 Application Form-
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (JNVS) has released the application form for Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2022 Class 11 Application Form submission date is not announced yet. Navodaya Vidyalaya form will be issued in online mode. Candidates who have filled JNV Admission 2022 Class 11 Application Form will be selected for admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya 2022 Class 11 (JNV 2022 Class 11).

Eligibility for Admission in Class-XI
Students seeking admission in Class–XI should be within the age limit of 14-18 years as on 1st July, of the year of admission
The candidate must have passed Class–X from a recognized school (affiliated to CBSE or any other State Education Board) of the district where the JNV is located during the academic session of the year of admission.
The merit list will be prepared as per marks obtained by the applicant in the Class–X Board Exam and the admission will be given as per eligibility of candidate and the seats available in the JNV concerned.
The candidates must have reasonable competency in English and Hindi.

- Address/residence proof
- Age proof- Birth certificate for class VI & IX and for class XI (mark sheet of class X is considered as age proof).
- Certificate of caste and category issued by the competent authority (in case of SC/ST candidates)
- Relevant certificate if candidate apply for admission under Rural Category.
- Physically disable certificate
- Relevant certificate if candidate apply under the transgender category.

JNV Admit Card
The admit card will be issued on the official website of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, navodaya.gov.in from where you can download it. Admit cards can be obtained only through an online medium. No student is sent the admit card by post or any other means. It is necessary to bring the admit card along with you at the time of examination. You are not allowed to appear in the exam if you do not have the admit card.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Exam Pattern 2022
- Students are given two hours in this examination.
- The exam will start from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm.
- The exam is to be conducted in 3 parts.
- All the questions in the exam are asked in multiple-choice type.
- A total of 80 questions are asked in the entrance exam.
- This exam is for a total of 100 marks.
- This entrance test consists of questions from the Mental Ability Test, Arithmetic Test and Language Test.
- The Mental Ability Test brings a total of 50 marks.
- The number of questions is 40.
- Students are given 60 minutes for this part.
- 20 questions of 25 marks are asked from the Arithmetic Test.
- A 30-minute time schedule has been set for this part.
- The language test also asks for 25 marks.
- A total of 20 questions come from this section.
- 30 minutes’ time is given for this part.
